MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the Fergus Falls Public Schools is to prepare productive and engaged members of society by creating an environment where all students reach their full potential.

GOALS:
The District will measure its effectiveness by:
Students entering kindergarten will meet school readiness goals.
Achieving grade-level literacy with all third grade students.
All staff will be knowledgable about the core concepts of the district's vision which is represented by our Otter Portrait of a Graduate.
The district will begin implementing ISTE standards preK-12th grade.
The district will begin implementing Project-Based Instruction (PBL).

Lincoln School: Otter Preschool/ECFE
Thursday Aug. 31st - 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Grades K-4 (McKinley, Adams, Cleveland):
Wednesday Aug. 30th - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
KSS (5-8): Open House 5pm - 8pm

Parent Informational Meetings (in Auditorium)
Parent Meetings will be held for 5th Grade families at 5pm and for 7th Grade families at 6:30pm in the Auditorium.
There are no scheduled parent meetings for Grade 6 and 8, however, parents can attend one of the two offered sessions if they wish.
MS administration will create and make available information for parents if they can not make the parent meeting
Area Learning Center:
Wednesday Aug. 30th - 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
New student mandatory enrollment meeting at 6:00pm
KSS (Grade 9):
Wednesday Aug. 23rd - 5:30pm - 6:30pm, KSS Auditorium
We will have a 9th-grade Open House for our incoming 9th-grade students and parent/guardians in the Auditorium with Mr. Anderson (Principal) and Mr. Thielke (Asst. Principal).
We feel it is important to meet with our 9th graders and their parents to review the schedule, Otter Time, attendance, and other school-related information to make the 9th graders successful as they enter High School. 9th graders will also be able to pick up their schedules that evening.
KSS (Grades 10-12):
Wednesday Aug. 23rd - 6:30pm - 7:30pm, KSS Auditorium
All 10-12 grade parents are invited to attend a meeting with Mr. Anderson and Mr. Thielke to review the new schedule, Otter Time, updates to attendance, and other important information.
Wednesday Aug. 30th - 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Grade 10-12 students and parents are invited to attend and stop in to meet your classroom teachers, get questions answered, and get additional information that will be important for the school year. Students will be able to pick up their schedules at this time
